    Mike,
Hope this gets to you. I’m guy from Texas who runs in Edwin Warner Park with my wife Connie. I thought you might enjoy this little event we are hosting. Not only great music, but we are bringing a great chef in from Texas to provide “Texas snacks”. Let me know if you are interested.

    Dear Friends,

How about a combination of good music, good food, good people and a great cause?

We are all teaming up to help some great folks- Chris Hogan (Director, Financial Coaching & Counseling, Dave Ramsey Organization,) and his wife Melissa, are the parents of a young tot named Case, who was born with a rare disease known as Hunter Syndrome. His treatment is ongoing and expensive. When we say expensive, we mean expensive: $11,000 a week. (See more information below).

So, The Adams (David & Sarah), The Beavers (Brett & Liz) and The Pinkertons (Jeff & Connie) had a thought: How about some of the top song writers and musicians in country music (which all happen to be clients of David’s at Southwestern Investment Services) plus a world renown chef coming together in a casual atmosphere, to share some songs, fellowship, food and drinks and to help raise some money for Case Hogan?

    Here’s the deal:
It’s casual- that’s shorts and sandals.
    It’s at a good time- Friday, July 30th, 7:00pm-9:00pm

    There’s awesome food and drinks:
Clive Berkman will be preparing some “Texas Snacks” and signing his complimentary cookbooks, Empty Bottle Moments. You can check out Clive at http://cookingwithclive.com . We’ll have a selection of wines, beers and other non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy with Clive’s great food. By the way, last month Clive was preparing some of the same “Texas Snacks” for Sandra Bullock in the Texas Hill country.

    There’s awesome music:
We’ll get front row seats in an intimate living room concert featuring:
o Brett Beavers……..co-writer/producer of Dierks Bentley’s hits, “What Was I Thinkin’”, “Lot of Leavin’ Left To Do”, and others too numerous to mention here.
o Josh Kear………celebrating his recent CMA Awards #1 Song of the Year for Lady Antebellum, “I Need You Now”, and also co-writer/Grammy award for Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats”
o Connie Mims……Texas Singer/Songwriter of the Year and recent transplant to Nashville
o Chris Leuzinger…… talented guitar player for a guy named Garth Brooks.

Brett & Liz Beavers have offered their beautiful home for this event, 1005 Norfleet Drive, 37220.

Not to be shy about it, but we hope to raise $3,000-$5,000 with a small group of 30 people or so. A $100 or More a person seems like a heck of a deal for world class music, food, an award-winning cookbook and lots of good fellowship. And, we will also throw in a special t-shirt commemorative gift from The Hogans.

Please let us know if you will be coming!

Bill, thanks for your comment! We truly apologize for not seeing your comment when it was originally posted as we were in the midst of moving the store in the Fall and simply did not do much with the blog, as we should have. I don’t know if you were able to get your question answered elsewhere, but the Bullard Field Pant from Bills Khakis has been very difficult to find the last several seasons because Bills chose to discontinue that fabric from their line a few seasons ago.

However, after much feedback from their customers, Bills Khakis is actually reintroducing the Bullard Field pant, in limited quantities only, for the upcoming Fall 2012 season. The only way to ensure you get one for yourself is to reserve it now as Bills Khakis will only cut and make what is preordered. If you are interested, please feel free to give me a call here at the store and I will be glad to get your reserve order in place to ensure a pair of Bullard Field pants are waiting for you come August or September 2012. Call me at the store at (615)-321-0686 and I will be happy to help! Thanks again! – Miranda, J. Michaels Clothiers

    Hello,

My name is Craig Wise, and I’ve been in the store for a few items a while back.

Although I seemed to have missed a couple of your nice Spring events, I am in need of several items and will stop by the store soon.

Could you please add me to your email list as I would be interested in staying informed about events in the future.

Thank you, and I look forward to visiting soon.

      Craig,

Thanks for your comment, glad you found us online as well! I am adding you to our store’s email list; we don’t like to inundate our customers with too many emails throughout the year so we hope you will check back with us here on the blog, find us on Facebook (J. Michaels Clothiers) or follow us on Twitter (JMCNashvhille) for the latest updates/goings on at the store. We continue to get a ton of new product in almost daily, much of which we don’t feature on our actual website simply due to limited availability and imaging constraints. We would love for you to stop by the shop again soon, we’re always happy to help! Thanks again! – Miranda, J. Michaels Clothiers
